|Rewarding Your Loyalty
Subscribers get priority access to all seats. Each year, a number of our events sell out. Avoid disappointment and subscribe today. Order early for best seating selection. Circle members of $1,000 and up are seated first by priority. All other renewals are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. New subscribers are seated next in order received. To ensure your seating priority, please return your order form as soon as you get it and well before the renewal deadline of June 27. New subscribers can place an order beginning June 11.
(Who gets seated first?)
• Subscribers are seated first (June - July).
• Circle members are seated second after subscribers (in August).
• The general public is seated third (during on-sale dates per show).
Subscription Orders: Window, phone, fax or mail: $8 per order handling fee for season packages and $2 per order postage. Online ticket orders have the fees above plus a $10 per order internet fee.
Single Ticket Orders: Window, phone, fax or mail: $4 per order handling fee and $1 postage. Online ticket orders have the fees above plus a $3 per ticket internet fee.
Ticket pricing is guaranteed through August members’ sales week. Then, all single ticket prices are subject to change. Current single ticket prices are available on our website.
No refunds except in the case of a cancelled event. Refunds in the case of a cancellation will be for the value of the ticket only. Handling charges and facility fees are not refundable. Due to the nature of live performances, programs and dates are subject to change. Date changes do not constitute a cancellation.
Exchanges are only for a different performance or seating of the same event, based on availability. (Ex: The King and I for different seating location in The King and I. Not The King and I for Rick Springfield.) Tickets are exchanged at face value. Tickets of higher value exchanged for a lower value are considered an even exchange. Tickets exchanged for a higher value need the difference paid. A $3 per ticket fee will be charged for exchanges.

About The Cowan Center
Wheelchair locations are available on both orchestra and balcony levels, in all price levels. Parking spaces for patrons with disabilities are located closest to the Center. The Center is equipped with a listening system and devices are available at the information desks at no charge on a first-come, first-served basis until gone. Anyone needing sign language interpreters, please notify the box office 2 weeks prior to the event.
Patrons arriving late will be admitted at the discretion of management. All performances begin promptly at the designated show time. Latecomers will be asked to wait in the lobby until an appropriate time in the performance to enter.
Remember, we are a full-time university. The campus has evening classes during the week, therefore, parking may be difficult near curtain time. Valet parking ($10) has limited spaces available. Valet parking may be full and unavailable if you arrive close to curtain, whether you have prepaid or not. Suggested arrival time is 30 minutes prior to curtain.
All ticket orders received fewer than 10 days prior to the performance will be held in Will Call for pick up. Will Call tickets can be picked up at the box office 1 hour prior to the event, or during regular office hours. Photo ID required.
GROUPS SAVE MONEY
Receive special discounts for groups of 20 or more. Group discounts are available for series events at the Cowan Center. Special events do not offer a discount. For a group order form, call 903.566.7424. Group orders will be accepted beginning August 20, 2018.
A ticket is required for everyone entering the theatre, including children. Due to fire codes, everyone (including young children) must have a ticket. Children under 5 are not admitted unless advertised. Additionally, even for children over the age of 5, many shows would not be enjoyable or suitable. Some shows contain mature content, language, or adult themes. Parents are urged to consider children’s interests, maturity, and attention span, and the rights of people seated around them. Should a child become disruptive, you may be asked to wait in the lobby with your child.
The Cowan Center welcomes the time and commitment of volunteers. If you would like to be an usher during the 2018-19 season, please call 903.566.7288.
To promote the health, well-being and safety of university students, faculty, staff and visitors, UT Tyler is a tobacco-free campus.
