UT Tyler Announces Addition to 2025-26 Season 

Grammy®-nominated NEEDTOBREATHE to perform at Cowan Center

TYLER, Texas (July 16, 2025) – The University of Texas at Tyler R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center had added NEEDTOBREATHE to the upcoming 2025-26 “Big Names, Big Entertainment” season.

NEEDTOBREATHE will perform on Friday, Oct. 24, at the Cowan Center. The band’s opener will perform at 7:30 p.m., and NEEDTOBREATHE will take the stage at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Leveraging a unique fusion of modern rock, purpose-driven soul and irresistible pop appeal, Grammy®-nominated, multi-platinum band NEEDTOBREATHE boasts five No. 1 albums across the Billboard charts. 

They’ve racked up two billion career streams and scored dozens of multi-platinum chart-topping hits, including “Brother” featuring Gavin DeGraw. And they’ve done it all while filling venues across the globe. Their most recent effort, “I’ve Got a Story,” featuring three-time Grammy® winner Tori Kelly, delves into themes of personal struggle, redemption and resilience, taking listeners on a journey from rock bottom to empowerment.

For season subscribers, NEEDTOBREATHE can be added to the Concert Series Pick 3 bundle beginning noon Wednesday, July 16. Circle members can get tickets beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, and individual ticket sales for this concert will begin on Monday, Sept. 15.
