ABOUT THE COWAN CENTER
BOX OFFICE HOURS
Monday-Friday (9 AM-4 PM) and one hour prior to each performance. All sales — phone, internet, in-person, fax or mail — begin at 9 AM on the on-sale date. The box office is closed for university holidays.
SUBSCRIPTION ORDERS
Subscribers get priority access to all seats. Each year, a number of our events sell out. Avoid disappointment and subscribe today. Order early for best seating selection.
- Circle members of $1000 and up are seated first during renewals by priority level.
- All other renewals are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- New subscribers are seated after upgrade requests from current subscribers are completed.
To ensure your seating priority, please return your order form as soon as you complete it and well before the renewal deadline of July 21. New subscribers can place an order beginning June 23, getting them in line for seating.
Due to current regulations, seating locations may be altered on a per-show basis.
TICKETING SENIORITY
Subscribers are seated first (subscriptions available June 23-July 21).
Circle members are seated second, after subscribers (Circle members access tickets August 4-September 12).
The general public is seated third (general public ticket sales open September 15).
ORDER FEES
Subscription Orders: Available by phone, online or in-person; $8 per order handling fee for series subscriptions and $2 postage. Online ticket orders have the fees above plus a $10 per order fee.
Single Ticket Orders: Available by phone, online or in-person; $4 per order handling fee and $2 postage. Online ticket orders have the fees above plus a $4 per ticket fee.
NO REFUNDS
No refunds will be given except in the case of a canceled event. Refunds in the case of a cancellation will be for the value of the ticket only. Handling, internet and postage fees are nonrefundable. Due to the nature of live performances, programs, dates and times are subject to change. Date changes do not constitute a cancellation.
EXCHANGES
Exchanges are only for a different performance or seating of the same event, based on availability. (Ex: Circa for different seating location in Circa, not Circa for Mavis Staples). Tickets are exchanged at face value. Tickets of higher value exchanged for a lower value are considered an even exchange. Tickets exchanged for a higher value need the difference paid. A $3 per ticket fee will be charged for all exchanges.
UT TYLER FACULTY & STAFF
Employees may download their discounted season order form here. All requests for a discount must be made through the box office, either by phone or in person. Requests for a faculty/staff discount must be made at the time of purchase (no retroactive discounts). Discounts are available for two tickets per series event. No discounts are available for special events.
UT TYLER STUDENTS
Current UT Tyler students receive one free ticket to most Cowan Center events. Students must present their ID at the box office to claim their free ticket. For more information, call the box office at 903.566.7424.
