ABOUT THE COWAN CENTER

BOX OFFICE HOURS

Monday-Friday (9 AM-4 PM) and one hour prior to each performance. All sales — phone, internet, in-person, fax or mail — begin at 9 AM on the on-sale date. The box office is closed for university holidays.

ACCESSIBILITY

Wheelchair locations are available in all price levels. Parking spaces for patrons with disabilities are located closest to the Cowan Center. The Cowan Center is equipped with a listening system, and hearing devices are available at the information desks at no charge on a first-come, first-served basis until gone. Anyone needing sign language interpreters, please notify the box office two weeks prior to the event.

LATE SEATING

All performances begin promptly at the designated show time. Latecomers will be asked to wait in the lobby until an appropriate time in the performance to enter. Patrons arriving late will be admitted at the discretion of management in accordance with artists’ contracts.

WILL CALL

All ticket orders received fewer than 10 days prior to the performance will be held in Will Call for pick up. Will Call tickets can be picked up at the box office one hour prior to the event, or during regular office hours. Photo ID required.

GROUPS SAVE MONEY

Receive special discounts for groups of 12 or more. Group discounts are available for series events at the Cowan Center. Special events do not offer a discount. For a group order form, call 903.566.7424. Group orders will be accepted beginning August 26.

CHILDREN

A ticket is required for everyone entering the theater, including children. Due to fire codes, everyone, including young children, must have a ticket. Some shows contain mature content, language or adult themes. Parents are urged to consider children’s interests, maturity and attention span, and the rights of people seated around them. Should a child become disruptive, you will be asked to wait in the lobby with your child.

VOLUNTEERS

The Cowan Center welcomes the time and commitment of volunteers. If you would like to be an usher during the 2025–2026 season, please call 903.566.7424 or email [email protected].
