The Cowan Center is located on the campus of The University of Texas at Tyler, approximately 90 miles from Dallas and Shreveport. In Tyler’s southeast corner, the campus is easy to find. Just exit Loop 323 onto University Boulevard (Spur 248), then head east on University Boulevard until you get to Old Omen Road (approximately two miles). Take a left onto Old Omen Road and you will see the main entrance to the campus on your left. If you are going to valet park, proceed to the next entrance into the university. PARKING
Remember, we are a full-time university. The campus has evening classes during the week, therefore, parking may be difficult near curtain time. Valet parking ($15) has limited spaces available. This lot may be full and unavailable if you arrive close to curtain, whether you have prepaid or not. Suggested arrival time is by 7 PM.
